Sea Body Myotherapy & Movement is a leading sports massage therapist, health consultant, massage therapist, and personal trainer located in Currumbin, on the Gold Coast region of Australia. Matt holds a BHSc Myotherapy degree, which was recognised for academic excellence, and is also an accredited breath coach, Advanced Oxygen Advantage instructor, functional movement coach, and personal trainer.
Sea Body places importance on conducting thorough assessments and utilising evidence-based scientific research to deliver personalised treatment plans. Their hands-on techniques include dry needling, intramuscular electro needling, cupping, joint mobilisation, neural mobilisation, myofascial release, and massage. These techniques are complemented by exercises and lifestyle modifications to ensure a comprehensive approach to recovery, rehabilitation, health, and well-being.
Sea Body offers treatment for various conditions, including back, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, pelvic, knee, and ankle pain and injuries, as well as stress, anxiety, muscle aches, strains, soreness, and headaches. They also provide other services such as myotherapy massage, pre-season sports screening, functional movement screening, mobility and movement coaching, holistic lifestyle advice, strength and conditioning, health and fitness coaching, and weight loss programmes.
To enhance convenience, Sea Body offers both clinic-based appointments at their location inside Inherent Wellness in Currumbin, as well as mobile appointments throughout the Gold Coast and Northern NSW regions. The clinic is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 5pm, and on Fridays from 12pm to 5pm.
Outside of Sea Body, Matt enjoys surfing at the local beaches, diving in the coral reefs, and spending time in nature with his family.
