Seahorse School of Swimming is a highly regarded Swim School located in Rochester, New Zealand. With a rich history of 18 years, the school takes pride in providing a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for children to settle into their lessons and progress with confidence. The school has an excellent track record of helping even the most anxious non-swimmers overcome their fears and develop a love for swimming.

Seahorse School of Swimming offers swimming lessons in Medway, covering various areas such as Rochester, Strood, Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham, Hoo Peninsula, Walderslade, and Lordswood. Safety is of utmost importance, and therefore, every teaching session has a qualified Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) person present. Additionally, all teachers at Seahorse School of Swimming are fully qualified with recognised qualifications from Swim England and have undergone enhanced DBS checks.

A wide range of lessons is available for both children and adults. Children's lessons cater to different abilities and ages, including non-swimmers, beginners, improvers, advanced swimmers, club-level swimmers, survival skills, and rookie lifeguard lessons. These lessons can be either in small groups or private 1-1 or 1–2 sessions, ensuring individual attention and support. Assistance in the water is provided for non-swimmers and beginners, maintaining a maximum ratio of 1-4/6 for non-swimmers, 1-8 for improvers.

Seahorse School of Swimming also specialises in teaching adults, offering private lessons for non-swimmers, beginners, improvers, advanced swimmers, club-level swimmers, and even Ironman competitors. Many triathletes have benefited from tailored swimming lessons for their triathlon preparations, leading to improved times and successes in Ironman and national-level events.

To facilitate accelerated learning, the school organises Easter Intensive courses and Summer Intensive courses. These courses, lasting for five days, provide an excellent opportunity to learn to swim quickly and effectively. Group lessons, as well as 1-1 and 1–2 lessons, are available and highly recommended for those looking for rapid progress.
