Selden Mast Ltd is known for being passionate about sailing and really focuses on making the sailing experience top-notch. Their whole team is into every small detail to ensure everything they produce meets high standards.
David mentioned that Selden's approach is all about quality and system thinking. They pick their materials carefully and test everything thoroughly to make sure it performs as best as it can. They’ve been leading the way since the 1960s, evolving from wooden masts to top-of-the-line aluminium and carbon ones.
One of the coolest things about Selden is their Furlex, known as the best jib furling system around. It’s designed to make sailing safe and worry-free and comes as a complete kit, sorted out by local sailmakers and riggers. They’re now on the fourth generation of the Furlex, constantly improving it.
Their deck hardware is solid too, coming with a 2-year warranty and developed with input from boat builders, sailmakers, and yacht designers. It’s all about making sail handling smoother and more reliable.
