This exciting event takes place every August in the charming village of Shaldon, nestled along the breathtaking River Teign in England. With a remarkable history of over 200 years, this regatta is one of the oldest in the country.
The primary goal of Shaldon Regatta is to create a safe and inclusive environment for individuals of all skill levels to actively participate in a wide range of water-based as well as land-based activities. Regardless of whether you own a boat or not, you are more than welcome to join in on the fun, as the regatta provides its very own fleet of boats for participants to utilise.
While rowing and sailing take centre stage, it would be remiss not to mention the numerous other delightful activities that await attendees, both on and off the water. One particular crowd-pleaser is the famous pillow fight on a slippery pole, which never fails to draw an enthusiastic audience.
