About
Monk of Indian origin, became the first Chinese Zen Patriarch in the 5th century AD. He brought Zen Buddhism to China and Shaolin Monastery, integrating Indian Chan meditation with Chinese martial arts, laying the foundation for what we know as Shaolin Gong Fu today. Our school, Shaolin Wuji, honours this tradition by offering classes in Shaolin Gong Fu, Qi Gong, Chen Taiji, and Meditation.
Shaolin Gong Fu, originating from the Shaolin Monastery, is a traditional martial art that focuses on physical fitness, self-defence, and spiritual development. Qi Gong, a powerful health exercise practised by Chinese martial arts masters for thousands of years, enhances energy flow and overall well-being. Chen Taiji fosters balance, strength, flexibility, and harmony while building a strong martial foundation. Meditation, through regular practice, inspires deep peace and a new perspective on the senses.
Our classes are led by experienced teachers and masters who have dedicated themselves to the practice and teaching of traditional Chinese martial arts. At Shaolin Wuji, we believe in the steady evolution of each practitioner, nurturing their physical, energetic, and spiritual growth in harmony with their individual needs and abilities. We offer a supportive and welcoming community for students of all levels to learn and grow.
