

Sheffield Lifesaving Club, run by Georgia Wild and her dedicated team, meets every Wednesday during term time at 19:40 at Graves Leisure Centre & Pool in Meadowhead, Sheffield. They kick off with first aid (dry-side) and pool training at 20:00 sharp.
Following the RLSS National Lifesaving Academy and Rookie syllabus, Georgia ensures that members receive top-notch training in safety and rescue skills. The club also awards its own interim recognitions throughout the year.

The teaching team includes Laura Housley as an instructor and Jamie Wright as an assistant instructor, supported by coaching assistants Lucien Bailey-Smith and Erin Wild. Many members hold professional lifeguarding qualifications, including Laura, Lucien, and Jake Ledger, a registered paramedic and RLSS instructor tutor.
The club offers Rookie awards in bronze, silver, and gold levels, marking the progress of swimmers at different training stages. They also provide details on the National Lifesaving Academy's offerings.
In addition, Sheffield Lifesaving Club has participated in international events, including a joint venture with Eindhoven in 2016 and competitions in 2014 and 2011.
