Shining Stars Football Coaching is a Brentwood-based club offering approved football sessions for girls and boys aged 2 to 5 years. The club's aim is to provide a fun and learning programme that focuses not only on introducing children to football but also on developing important life skills such as concentration, listening, balance, coordination, team work, and more.
The Shining Stars Members are split into two age groups, with classes structured according to the different stages of a child's development. All sessions are run by F. A qualified coaches who are first aid qualified, DBS checked, and have attended child protection workshops.
Each 45-minute weekly session is held at an indoor venue, allowing children and parents to stay dry and warm regardless of the unpredictable British weather. Shining Stars Football Coaching prioritises fun in a safe and secure environment.
For the youngest group, Twinkling Stars, parental participation is often needed to help build confidence and share memorable goal celebrations together. Children in this class learn warm-ups, dribbling, shooting, and basic football skills. Parents and guardians still have the opportunity to participate if their child requires support.
As children progress to the Shooting Stars class, they are introduced to more challenging skills development games. The sessions incorporate a variety of fun games and lots of physical activity to help children feel comfortable and confident with the ball at their feet.
Classes take place on Saturdays and Sundays at Abbs Cross Health & Fitness, located on Abbs Cross Lane, Hornchurch, RM12 4 YB. The club offers a range of class times to accommodate different schedules. Prices for the sessions are 45. 00 for a 6-week course or 85.
