Benni is a big friendly giant, standing at 16. 2hh and hes 8 years old. He is a Clydesdale x Australian Stock Horse. Benni is well-known for his gentle nature and is loved by riders of all ages.

He is a patient and reliable horse, perfect for beginner riders or those looking for a steady ride. Benni is always eager to please and enjoys being groomed and ridden.

Riverdance is a beautiful bay mare, standing at 16hh and shes 9 years old. She is a Thoroughbred x Irish Draught. Riverdance is known for her elegance and grace, making her a favourite among riders who enjoy dressage and show jumping. She is a talented and athletic horse, suitable for intermediate to advanced riders.

Riverdance loves to show off her moves and is a joy to ride.

At Showgrounds Riding School, we offer a range of services to cater to riders of all ages and abilities. Our private 1-hour lessons are perfect for adult riders and intermediate-advanced children who want personalised instruction. These lessons can be used to improve specific skills or as additional practise alongside group lessons. Weekday private lessons are priced at $140, while weekend private lessons are $160.

For beginner kids or intermediate riders looking to perfect their cantering skills, we offer 30-minute private lessons. These shorter lessons are not suitable for adult riders and are priced at $90.

If you're looking for a unique and memorable birthday party experience, our pony parties are a fantastic option. Suitable for 2–15 children, each child will get to ride a pony and participate in grooming, horse quizzes, and pony-themed games. Pony parties can be held in the park or at our centre, with 1 pony provided for every 5 children. The cost is $290 per pony for a 90-minute session.

We also offer squad riding groups by invitation from your riding coach. Squad riders participate in 1 shared lesson and 1 90-minute group lesson per week. They have access to priority horse selection, internal competitions, and clinics. The cost for a 10-week term is $2,900, and payment plans are available if required.

Showgrounds Riding School is located next to the stunning Centennial Park in Moore Park. We are proud to offer inner city horse riding, making us one of the only facilities in the world to provide this unique experience. Our equestrian centre is rich in Sydney history, with heritage-listed buildings like the Clydesdale Pavilion. We are dedicated to providing top-class learning that is both educational and fun.

Our team consists of passionate and knowledgeable staff who are eager to share their love of horses with our clients. We have a variety of beautiful and well-trained horses that are suitable for riders of all levels. In addition to riding lessons, we also offer Centennial Park Rides and host children's parties.
