Located in the heart of Singapore, the Singapore Boxing Federation is a boxing gym dedicated to building champions for life. Established in 1929 as the Singapore Amateur Boxing Association, the organisation underwent a rebranding in 2022 and is now known as the Singapore Boxing Federation (SBF). Recognised by the Singapore National Olympic Council, the Asian Boxing Confederation, and the International Boxing Association, SBF is the national governing body for the promotion and development of boxing in Singapore.
As a charity organisation, SBF is committed to the growth and safety of the sport. The federation is responsible for registering competitive boxers, sanctioning local events, and ensuring compliance with international guidelines to maintain the professionalism of boxing. With a primary mandate from 2022 to 2026, SBF aims to expand its focus, develop outreach channels, promote a safe and professional boxing culture, and identify and groom talented athletes to represent Singapore in major games.
