Singapore Taekwon-do Academy

Singapore Taekwon-do Academy (STA) is Singapore's oldest traditional Taekwon-do organisation, founded in 1971 by Grandmaster B S Huan. With over 50 years of experience, STA is the largest network of training centres and classes in Singapore, offering classes nationwide in various locations such as neighbourhood RC & Community Centres, private training studios, fitness gyms, and condo clubhouses.

At STA, the focus is on traditional Taekwon-do, with a systematic and safety-first approach to training. The training syllabus established by STA ensures excellence in coaching and learning, allowing every student and black belt to achieve their best. All instructors are personally trained by Senior Masters, and only qualified Senior Black Belts conduct classes. Grading and certifications are conducted by Senior Examiners and Masters from STA, with centralised gradings held every calendar quarter.

STA offers a wide range of classes and training options, with Five Divisions or Regions of management for our network of Training Centres.
