Sanjay founded Sittingbourne Yoga because he loves sharing the benefits of yoga. At Sittingbourne Yoga, everyone is welcome, whether you’re just starting out or have been practising for years. They focus on Hatha Yoga, which includes physical postures, breath control, and relaxation techniques to improve flexibility, strength, and mental awareness.
You can join their Hatha Yoga classes every Monday evening at the Pavilion in King George's Park and every Thursday evening at Bobbing Village Hall. It’s a great chance to unwind, stretch, and reconnect with your body and mind. Each class is £7, and there’s no need to book in advance.
For expectant mothers, Sanjay offers specialised Pregnancy Yoga courses every Sunday morning at The Oast Osteopathy in 5-week blocks. These classes are gentle and safe, helping you stay active, improve strength and flexibility, and prepare for childbirth. There are also Postnatal Yoga courses for Mummy and Baby, which run in 6-week blocks as needed.
When you attend, bring a yoga mat if you have one, and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. It’s best to eat at least two hours before class, and consider bringing warm clothing like socks and a jumper for relaxation time. Some people also bring a blanket for added comfort. Yoga is practised with bare feet.
Feel free to reach out with any questions. You can contact Sanjay via WhatsApp, email, or phone—details are on their social media pages and club directories.
Sanjay is dedicated to making Sittingbourne Yoga a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. He believes yoga is a personal journey and aims to support and guide you on yours. Join them on the mat and experience the transformative power of yoga. Namaste.
