Skate Club virtual sessions

The YMCA Action Sports crew is excited to announce that Cowes Skatepark is offering virtual skateboarding and scooter sessions for all the skate enthusiasts out there! Whether you're a newbie to the skateboarding scene or looking to up your game with some new tricks, our team of experienced coaches is here to help you out.

To join in on the fun, all you have to do is click the registration link below and fill out the form. If you're under 16, make sure to get permission from your parents. Each session is priced at $20, and we are limiting the number of participants to 6 skaters per session. This way, we can provide personalised feedback and attention to each and every participant.

Here's the schedule for our virtual Skate Club sessions:
- Scooter sessions on Mondays at 4pm
- Skateboard sessions on Tuesdays at 4pm
- More skateboard sessions on Wednesdays at 4pm
- And another skateboard session on Thursdays at 4pm

We have sessions catered to different skill levels, so there's something for everyone:
- Beginner sessions: Perfect for those who are new to skateboarding or still working on the basics. Our coaches will cover everything from getting comfortable on the board to fundamental board control, as well as equipment and etiquette.
- Intermediate sessions: Recommended for confident skateboarders who have already mastered the basics. These sessions will focus on teaching tricks and techniques to further improve your skateboarding abilities.

To participate, make sure you have a device like a hands-free phone, laptop, or iPad, and a safe and clear space around you. Don't forget to grab your skateboard and helmet, and if you're a beginner, we also recommend additional safety gear such as knee pads and wrist guards.
