Conveniently located in the central part of Winnipeg, Skate on Demand provides Learn to Skate and Figure Skating lessons during Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. The club offers on-demand skating classes based on the demand for lessons during each season, with proposed class times that are confirmed once they have sufficient registrations.
The Learn to Skate program at Skate on Demand is tailored for beginners and follows the nationally accredited Learn to Skate program used across Canada. Skating classes are taught in small skater to coach ratio classes to ensure that each skater receives the attention they need to develop their skills. Classes are available for Tots ages 3 to 5, Children ages 6 to 12, and Adults.
For skaters looking to advance beyond basic skating skills, Skate on Demand offers Junior Figure Skating programs. We provide learn to skate and figure skating lessons for tots, children, teens and adults. You can also book private skating lessons to progress at your own pace.
Lessons run at several locations in Winnipeg, including indoor rinks, outdoor rinks and synthetic ice skating rinks depending on the season. For Summer 2026, we run Friday sessions from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturday sessions starting at 12:00 PM.
You can register through our Skating Programs registration link. Summer 2026 beginner learn to roller skate sessions list $199 per skater for ages 6 to 12 and 18+ and $149 per skater for tots ages 3 to 5.
