Skate Park@Deeside Leisure Centre, run by James, is North Wales’ largest indoor skate park and it’s packed with fun! Located at Deeside Leisure Centre, it’s the perfect place for skateboarders, BMX and scooter riders, and in-line skaters of all ages and skill levels.

James has ensured the park is filled with exciting features like the Street Plaza for an urban vibe, the foam-padded Resi Section for trick practice, a Vert Quarter Pipe for airtime lovers, and a Mini Ramp for beginners. Coffi Aura is on hand for snacks and drinks, and there's a Spectator Area where friends and family can cheer you on.

There are sessions throughout the week for all age groups, so it’s best to book online in advance as spots fill up quickly. The timetable changes during Flintshire term times and school holidays, making sure everyone gets a chance to ride.

For the young ones, there are specific Junior sessions, and Adults Only rides for those 18 and over. Helmets are a must for anyone under 18, and kids under 8 can join in with an adult.

James offers coaching sessions too, split into Beginner and Improver levels, perfect for honing your skills. Each session lasts an hour and is in a group setting.
