Michael McInerney would like to extend a warm welcome to the entire sports community from SKATERS, the prime skating rink in the East situated in Wisbech. With over 30 years in the business, Michael, along with his dedicated managers Gary Evison and Dee McInerney, continues to provide a fun and safe environment for skaters of all ages, supported by a team of friendly stewards.

One thing that sets SKATERS apart is its unique wooden maple floor, a standout feature shared by only four rinks in the country. This top-notch surface promises a smooth and enjoyable skating experience for everyone.

SKATERS doesn't just stop at a fantastic rink. Their skate shop offers a range of roller skates for purchase, so you don’t need to worry if you don’t own a pair yet. They’ve got a variety of options to suit all tastes and needs.

Worked up an appetite? Their café serves a full menu of hot and cold food, perfect for whatever you're craving—be it a quick snack or a hearty meal.

But there’s more than just casual skating at SKATERS. Michael McInerney himself coaches the Wisbech Inline Speed Skating Club (WISS) that meets every Saturday night. With over 25 members, WISS proudly competes across the UK and Europe and is always on the lookout for new talent.

Or perhaps roller hockey is more your speed? The Roller Hockey Club meets every Tuesday evening and boasts around 40 members, competing locally throughout the Eastern Counties District. Both clubs offer a free first session, making it easy to give these thrilling sports a try.

Throughout the year, SKATERS hosts a variety of lively events, such as the All Night Skate, National Boxing Evenings, and Big Bounce Days, ensuring there’s always something exciting on the horizon.
