The Ski Club of Tasmania is excited to invite all ski and snowboard enthusiasts to Mt Mawson Ski Field this weekend, on August 17-18, 2024. Despite some challenges with warm weather earlier in the week, there is still plenty of snow for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to the hard work of volunteers from the Southern Tasmanian Ski Association, the mountain has been able to maintain good snow conditions. The weather forecast looks promising with sun on Saturday and snow on Sunday, making for perfect skiing and snowboarding conditions. Visitors can hit the slopes and take advantage of the new Mt Mawson Public Day Shelter for a comfortable break. The volunteers have even made improvements to the Mawson tow-rope to ensure a smooth experience for all visitors. Make sure to come out and experience the beauty of Southern Tasmania's Mt Mawson Ski Field this weekend for a fantastic time in the snow!
