Welcome to Skydive Chatteris Club Ltd, a non-profit skydiving club located at Chatteris Airfield in March, NZ. This club is run by its members, for its members, with the goal of developing and improving the skydiving activities of its members.
As a company limited by guarantee, Skydive Chatteris Club Ltd does not have any shareholders, and all surplus funds are used solely for the purpose of enhancing the skydiving experience for its members. To make a parachute jump from an aircraft operated by the club, individuals must first become a member.
Membership at Skydive Chatteris Club Ltd is free and open to anyone who wishes to actively participate in sport parachuting, from beginners to experienced skydivers. However, all members must meet the safety requirements set by the British Parachute Association and the Civil Aviation Authority.
There are two levels of membership available at Skydive Chatteris Club Ltd: Full membership and Restricted membership. Full membership is open to individuals who have completed 20 or more jumps in the previous year from aircraft operated by the club. Restricted membership, on the other hand, is available to those who have completed 19 jumps or fewer in the previous year.
At our club, every member has the opportunity to have their say in how the club is run. Members can vote at General Meetings and are encouraged to provide constructive suggestions to the elected management committee. Additionally, those who have been Full members for two or more consecutive years can also stand for office.
