At SLG Farm, we pride ourselves on our Natural Horsemanship approach, focusing on positive reinforcement techniques with our equine friends. Our team of experienced coaches are dedicated to teaching riders the ins and outs of horse safety, horsemanship, horse care, and riding skills. We welcome riders of all levels, with a special emphasis on beginners.
Our lesson programs include private and semi-private lessons, available 7 days a week. We also offer a variety of camps throughout the year, including summer camp, March break camp, winter break camp, and PA day camp. Additionally, we provide an interactive birthday party package that allows guests to learn about our horses and enjoy a horseback ride during the celebration.
At SLG Farm, we also offer our horses for hire for photo and video shoots, both on-site and off-site. Our well-loved horses are part of our family and are central to our commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable riding experience for all.
For those interested in lessons, our current rates are $60 per hour for semi-private lessons and $75 per hour for private lessons, plus HST. Students are required to bring their own Equestrian-approved riding helmet, wear long pants and boots with a heel, and tie back their hair. We have a no-refund policy and a cancelation policy in place for customer review prior to the first lesson.
