Simon has always believed in the incredible benefits scuba diving brings to people. It’s more than just an adventure underwater—it instils key life skills such as responsibility, problem-solving, risk assessment, and environmental awareness. Recognition came in June 2017 when SMG SCUBA was awarded the status of “Approved Youth Training Centre,” reflecting their dedication to providing excellent training.

Simon Grey is at the heart of SMG SCUBA. With a rich background as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, and sports development officer, Simon got hooked on scuba diving during his travels in 2000. Since then, he’s poured his passion into teaching scuba diving full-time for 17 years. As a PADI Master Instructor, EFR Instructor Trainer, and BSAC Open Water Instructor, Simon’s expertise is second to none.

Founded in 2005, SMG SCUBA has always focused on delivering top-tier PADI courses and experiences to schools and colleges. The commitment to high standards in training continues, ensuring that all experiences are not just fulfilling and enjoyable but safe too.
