Smiley Heart Walkers is a vibrant and active sports club located in the beautiful South Burnett Regional area of Australia. We are a community of walkers who are dedicated to improving our heart health while enjoying the stunning scenery of our region.
As part of the National Heart Foundation of Australia, Smiley Heart Walkers aims to promote the many benefits of walking for our physical and mental well-being. We believe that walking is the simplest and most effective way to lower the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Research has shown that walking for just 30 minutes a day can reduce these risks by 30 to 40 percent.
Joining our walking community is easy. We have over 600 walking groups nationwide, and finding a group near you is just a few clicks away. Simply search for a walking group within a 10 km to 100 km radius of your location, and start your journey towards a healthier heart.
