Kelburn Croquet Club invites you to enjoy a game of croquet this summer season from September to April. Host your social croquet events at our beautiful club, just a 15-minute walk from Wellington’s CBD. With five croquet lawns, a clubhouse, kitchen, indoor seating, toilets, and parking spaces, we've got you covered for a fun day out.
Croquet is a game for everyone - all ages and abilities can join in the fun. Teams of two can play on the lawns, with up to 40 people participating at a time. Don't worry if you're new to the game, as we provide basic instructions on gameplay and strategies. Remember to wear flat shoes, comfortable clothing, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen for a comfortable day out on the lawns.
To book your spot, simply email Kelburncroquet.bookings@gmail.com. Our clubhouse can host up to 50 people and offers BBQ facilities and a refreshment area for your convenience. Keep in mind that availability is from September to April, with some restrictions during holiday periods.
Rates for hireage are based on party size and event duration. Peak Fridays in November and December require a minimum spend of $1000. Catering facilities are available on site, or you can arrange your own catering, ensuring cleanliness and rubbish removal. If caterers need early access to the clubhouse, this can be arranged for an additional fee.
