Sooke Sailing Association

The Sooke Sailing Association is a vibrant community of individuals who share a deep passion for sailing and the open waters. Located in Sooke, our association aims to bring the joy and excitement of sailing to the local community, offering courses for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a seasoned sailor or a beginner looking to learn the ropes, we are dedicated to providing safe and educational sailing experiences both on and off the water.

Our programs are held at the Sooke Bay Marine Centre, just 4. 1 km west of downtown Sooke. We are proud to be Sail Canada certified, ensuring that our instructors are highly experienced and capable of delivering top-notch training. From cruising to competitive sailing, our courses cover a wide range of sailing styles, allowing participants to pursue their own sailing dreams.

At Sooke Sailing Association, we are grateful for the support of organizations like KidSport Greater Victoria, who help us promote sports participation among local youth. Our instructors are all CANSail Certified, offering expert guidance and instruction to help students develop their sailing skills and knowledge.
