The hunting block drop-offs are customised to meet your specific needs and timings. Lindsay will ensure that you and your party are safely dropped off and picked up at the designated hunting block. This allows you to have a hassle-free and efficient hunting experience.

Southern Charters also offers additional services such as birding trips and sightseeing tours. During these trips, Lindsay and his team will take you to various scenic spots around Stewart Island, including Port William, Horseshoe Bay, and Oban. You will have the opportunity to explore the island, go for walks, rent e-bikes, or simply relax at the pub and enjoy some locally caught blue cod.

Throughout your trip, Lindsay and his team will provide interesting insights and stories about the area's wildlife, including albatross, penguins, and sooty shearwaters. You'll also have the chance to spot Great White Sharks at Edward's Island.

Southern Charters operates from Bluff and utilises their iconic boat, 'The Beast', to safely transport you across Foveaux Strait to Stewart Island. The boat has a rich history at the America's Cup, adding a touch of intrigue to your fishing, diving, or hunting adventure.

For fishing charters, Southern Charters will take you to calm fishing spots near Stewart Island, such as Ruapuke, Dog Island, Bird Island, or other islands. The fishing trips typically last 4–5 hours, and Lindsay will provide fishing rods and bait free of charge. You can catch fish species like Blue Cod, Trumpeter, and Blue Moki, and you are allowed to take your catch home.

In addition to fishing charters, Southern Charters also offers spear diving trips. Ruapuke and Stewart Island are renowned for their excellent visibility for spear diving. Lindsay, being a professional Paua diver, knows the best spots for a successful spear diving excursion. Spear guns can be provided for an additional fee, and species available for spear diving include Blue Cod, Butterfish, Blue Moki, Paua, Crayfish, Bluefin Tuna, and Oysters.
