Cheerleaders in the country. At Southern Cross Cheer, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all athletes.
Our cheer and dance classes are not only fun and exciting but also a great way to stay active and get into shape. Through our programmes, athletes will learn awesome skills while developing important life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, self-confidence, and problem-solving skills. We believe that cheerleading is not just a sport but also an opportunity for personal growth and development.
One of our proudest accomplishments is our international open coed level 7 team, Legacy. They were the first and only Australian cheerleading team to “Globe” at the World Championships, earning silver in 2016 and bronze in 2017 in the international open coed level 6 division. This same passion and drive can be found in all our teams, from our Mini age classes for children as young as 4 to our veteran athletes who have been with us for years. We have created teams and classes for athletes of all ages and abilities to ensure that each person is placed where they are best suited and can maximise their enjoyment and progression.
We offer a free trial class for those who are unsure if cheerleading is the right fit for them. No experience is necessary, and we encourage anyone interested to come and give it a try. Our experienced coaches will guide you through the basics and help you decide if cheerleading is something you want to pursue further.
Southern Cross Cheer is not just a club, we are a family. We are dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for all athletes to thrive and reach their full potential. Join our amazing cheer family and be a part of something special at Southern Cross Cheer!
