As an affiliated club of the British Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (BWSF), the club follows strict guidelines and supports youth development through the BWSF cutting edge programme. Qualified coaches run summer courses in wakeboarding and water-skiing for skill development.

Membership is limited and must be approved by the committee. Prospective members need to uphold the club's constitution, adhere to its rules, and be members of the British Water Ski & Wakeboard (BWSW) with the relevant Ski Boat Drivers (SBDA) qualification. Dave ensures that qualified trainers provide the SBDA course at the club, and all boats must meet strict environmental standards with compulsory third-party insurance.

Membership categories include family, individual, junior, and social, with varying fees listed on the club’s website. New members pay a joining fee, with different rates for boat-owners and non-boat-owners.
