Samurai Kickboxing, the local Mixed Martial Arts club in Maidenhead, is excited to promote their upcoming event that focuses on helping children become the best versions of themselves!
One of the key aspects of our club is sparring, which is all about control. Students at Samurai Kickboxing participate in sparring sessions where they solely use their hands against their opponent's trunk, making light and quick touches. This not only enhances their confidence but also helps them develop control over their movements.
As students progress and achieve a certain level of control, we gradually introduce light kicks to the trunk. This allows them to expand their skill set and further enhance their abilities in the art of Mixed Martial Arts. If they feel ready and have gained the required experience, students can also participate in our light continuous Sparring Tournaments.
For our more advanced students, we offer specific sparring classes that are held every week. These classes are exclusively for those who have attained higher grade belts or are part of our Samurai Elite program. Attending these sessions regularly is crucial for students as it enables them to accumulate Sparring League Points, which are necessary for grading.
Please note that our sparring classes are held in various locations, including Bucks & Berks and Jersey, on specific dates and times. To participate, students are required to have their own sparring equipment, which can conveniently be purchased from our website shop.
