Welcome to Splashez Aquatic Centre, located in Parkside, Mount Isa. This family-friendly facility is operated by the Mount Isa City Council and offers a wide range of programmes and recreational activities for all ages.
At Splashez Aquatic Centre, visitors can enjoy the use of our pools and grounds all year round. Our 50-metre pool is heated during the cooler months, ensuring a comfortable swimming experience no matter the season. We also offer free aqua sessions, providing a fun and refreshing way to exercise and stay active.
Our opening hours vary depending on the season. During the summer months (September to May), we are open from 6:00am to 9:00am and 2:30pm to 7:30pm on weekdays, and 9:00am to 5:30pm on weekends and public holidays. In the winter months (June to August), our opening hours are from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on weekdays, and 10:30am to 5:30pm on weekends and public holidays.
Please note that we are closed on Christmas Day, Good Friday, and Mount Isa Show Day.
Additional fees may apply for certain activities and services. We offer adult swim fit programmes, aqua aerobics classes, and children's learn-to-swim lessons and squad swimming. Our swim shop and kiosk are also available for your convenience.
Splashez Aquatic Centre is not just a swimming pool it is a community hub. In addition to our aquatic facilities, we also have a library onsite, providing a great space for reading and learning. Our centre is surrounded by beautiful parks and ovals, making it an ideal location for outdoor activities and events.
