The facility is custom-built and specially designed for swimming lessons. It took a considerable amount of time to find the perfect location to build their own swim centre. With COVID-19 restrictions in mind, the new industrial unit has been developed with two separate changing areas, equipped with double cubicles for parents and children. The purpose-built 12 × 6 metre pool has a constant depth of 1.
2 metres and is filled with warm, low-chlorinated water, ensuring a comfortable environment for babies and young children. The location of the facility is central with easy access, ample parking, and no through traffic.
The team at Splash Together consists of early years specialists who are passionate about teaching children to be safer and happier in the water. All instructors hold necessary qualifications such as DBS Check, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Certificate, and STA Level 2 in Safety Award for Teachers. They are also trained as Covid-19 Officers and continuously undertake professional development courses to enhance their skills.
Angie, the founder and instructor at Splash Together, brings a wealth of experience to the team. With 23 years in the Royal Navy and being a mother of four, she recognised the need for effective swimming lessons after witnessing her own children's struggles in the water. Her dedication to providing a fun and confidence-boosting experience led her to complete the Birthlight training course in Baby Swimming. Her passion for helping others and passing on her knowledge and experience has been a driving force behind the success of Splash Together.
