IEM Basketball is thrilled to announce the upcoming Spring 2024 Basketball League in Aurora, Canada. This league promises a fantastic opportunity for basketball enthusiasts to engage in practices and games from April to June. With sessions scheduled 1-2 times a week, players can expect a well-rounded basketball experience tailored to fit their availability.
For those interested, girls are more than welcome to join boys' divisions within their respective age groups. Picking preferred days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday), times, and locations (Newmarket and/or Aurora) during registration is a must. Once all registrations are in and teams are set, players will be grouped based on their preferences. Home games and practices will be hosted at selected venues, while away games will be held at other specified locations.
With a high likelihood of playing on their desired night 80%-85% of the time, participants across different age groups – from 6 to 17 years – can prepare to compete in various divisions such as Novice, Atom, Bantam, Midget, and Juvenile. And for those willing to lend a helping hand, volunteers are highly encouraged to assist as coaches, referees, scorers, convenors, statisticians, or in any other available roles.
