About
Nestled in the heart of MICO Layout 2nd Stage, Arekere, the Samadhana Center Branch of SPYSS Yoga offers a serene sanctuary where body, mind, and soul can harmoniously converge. Since its humble inception in 1980 in Tumkur, Karnataka, SPYSS has grown into a global movement with more than 700 branches and millions of yoga enthusiasts. The Samiti operates under the inspiring leadership of Chief Convener Shri A R Ramaswamyanna, receiving blessings from spiritual luminaries and following the esteemed methods of Padmavibhushan Dr. B.K.S. Iyengar.
The essence of SPYSS revolves around three core principles: Sanskara (value-based behavior and activities), Sanghatane (community identity), and Seve (service to humanity). The daily free yoga classes led by voluntary teachers embody these principles, enabling participants to undergo a silent but profound transformation. Each session is designed to foster a positive approach to life, a healthy lifestyle, a dynamic personality, harmonious family relations, and, ultimately, a better society.
At the Samadhana Center Branch, emphasis is placed not just on physical asanas but also on imparting moral education to children, mentoring the youth, and promoting overall well-being through stress-free living and spiritual training. The teachers here offer their services selflessly, contributing to the largest voluntary yoga service organization in the world without any remuneration.
Joining SPYSS Yoga means becoming part of a compassionate community dedicated to holistic wellness and social enrichment. Whether a seasoned practitioner or a beginner, everyone is welcomed with open hearts and minds to embark on a transformative journey towards inner peace and community strength. Embrace this opportunity to enrich your life and contribute to a greater cause, one yoga session at a time.
