Welcome to Squamish Dance Centre, a supportive space for youth to explore movement and create connections. Located in Squamish, our dance school is dedicated to providing a positive and happy experience for all of our students and their families. Our aim is to nurture and develop talent, offer performance opportunities, celebrate every student, and inspire a love and appreciation for movement.

At Squamish Dance Centre, we believe that dance goes far beyond the walls of the studio. We strive to create a safe and positive dance home where all students can feel empowered, inspired, and free to express themselves. We are passionate about igniting excitement, curiosity, confidence, and creativity among all of our students.

Our preschool program, designed for children aged 6 months to 4. 5 years, focuses on providing a positive, encouraging, structured, and most importantly fun dance foundation. We believe in the power of play, exploration, and imagination at this young age. For children and teens aged 5 to 17, our developmental program offers a supportive and progressive environment for dancers to explore their creativity, make friends, build teamwork, and fine-tune motor and cognitive skills.

Classes include ballet, jazz, tap, acro, aerial hoop, hip hop, breaking, contemporary, lyrical, and variety.

For dancers looking for a more serious dance experience, our competitive program is geared towards those aged 5 to 17 who want to train more intensively. Competitive dancers set high goals, focus on faster progression development, and have generous performance opportunities. Classes offered in the competitive program include ballet, jazz, contemporary, acro, song & dance, variety, tap, breaking, lyrical, and solos/duos/trios.
