Active Leicester - Braunstone Leisure Centre is excited to announce their participation in the St George’s Day Festival in Leicester. The festival will feature a small indoor modern-day medieval market, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in historical elements in Leicester’s Old Town district.

With partnerships with the King Richard III Visitor Centre, Leicester Guildhall, and Leicester Cathedral, attendees can look forward to a day filled with exciting new activities. From walkabout acts and street theatre to venue tours, storytelling, arts and crafts, Morris and maypole dancing, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. The event typically sees an average footfall of around 5000 people, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere.

Traders who specialize in goods related to the St George’s Day theme, such as artisan foods, textiles, handcrafts, and more, are encouraged to apply to showcase their products. However, all applications are welcome as the goal is to provide attendees with a diverse range of offerings to enjoy.
