Dance Coach – Lisa Matthews Lisa is a talented and experienced dance coach with a background in various dance disciplines. She believes that dance is a powerful form of self-expression and aims to inspire and motivate students through her classes. Lisa creates a fun and energetic atmosphere where students can improve their technique, build strength, and develop their own style as dancers.
Singing Coach – Sarah Cooper Sarah is a skilled singing coach who is passionate about helping students discover and harness the power of their voices. At Stagecoach Performing Arts Leeds Horsforth, every child is valued and encouraged to explore their creativity and reach their full potential. The school offers weekly classes for children aged 4-6, 6-18, and 15+, where they can participate in drama, dance, and singing classes. These classes not only provide training in the performing arts disciplines but also help develop confidence, physical awareness, communication skills, and articulation.
The Early Stages classes for ages 4-6 run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, allowing young children to gain skills in singing, dancing, and drama in preparation for the next stage of their performing arts journey. The Main Stages classes for ages 6-18 are divided into three age-appropriate groups, providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students of all abilities. In these classes, students learn new skills in singing, dancing, and drama while also building confidence and having lots of fun.
For students aged 15 and above, the Further Stages programme offers advanced musical theatre sessions that focus on honing performance skills and preparing for auditions and interviews for theatre and vocational drama schools. These sessions include in-depth training and master classes to help students excel in singing, dancing, and acting.
