Welcome to Stagecoach Performing Arts Maidenhead, where Fay and her dedicated team provide high-quality performing arts training for children aged 2 to 19 years. Our mission is to foster and develop creativity while helping students reach their full potential in dance, drama, and singing. With a focus on stretching the imagination, building confidence, and cultivating creative courage, we aim to prepare our students for a lifetime of artistic expression.
In addition to our weekly classes and holiday workshops, our students have the exciting opportunity to participate in full-scale shows and perform at renowned West End and regional events. They also get to go on theatre trips, engage in specialist workshops with West End performers, and pursue qualifications through personalised coaching for LAMDA examinations. Furthermore, our students benefit from a diverse range of professional casting opportunities for both stage and screen, with recent successes including appearances in projects for BBC, Netflix, Disney, and Marvel.
At Stagecoach Maidenhead, we prioritise the safety and well-being of each child. That's why our entire team is Enhanced DBS checked, ensuring a secure environment for your little one to explore and grow.
Stay updated with all the latest news and notices on our Facebook page and noticeboard. We're immensely proud of our Junior and Senior Performance Troupes, who recently wowed audiences with their outstanding performances of 'Tarzan' and 'Stranger Things' in London's West End.
We're currently accepting registrations for our summer workshop, which will feature the popular musical 'Frozen' performed at the Courtyard Theatre, Norden Farm. This workshop is open to young people aged 4-6 and 7–19 years, and no prior experience is necessary. Don't delay, as places are filling up fast!
Our highly-anticipated Autumn Term begins on the 15th/16th September, and we're thrilled to kick off our SHOW TERM. Our Early Stages students will be working on their 'Christmas Extravaganza', while our Main Stages and Further Stages students will be showcasing their talents in 'Shrek' and 'Chicago' respectively at Norden Farm this December.
Looking ahead, our holiday workshops for 2024 will be going live in September 2023. Join us for a week of singing, dancing, and acting as we work towards a fully costumed and professionally lit performance. To book a spot, please visit the 'workshops' section on our website.
For those interested in pursuing professional qualifications, Stagecoach Maidenhead offers access to renowned performing arts examining boards such as the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). LAMDA-accredited exams carry great prestige and can even count towards the UCAS points system when applying to universities and colleges.
Our weekly classes cater to different age groups and skill levels. For children aged 2-4, we have our Mini Stages classes, offering 45 minutes of fun and excitement in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Early Stages classes, designed for ages 4-6, run alongside the main Stagecoach schools and provide opportunities for young people to develop their musical and theatrical skills.
You can find our Mini Stages classes at Manor Green School, located at Elizabeth Hawkes Way, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3EQ. Classes take place on Saturdays from 09:00 to 09:45.
