On the role of Principal at Stagecoach Mansfield. Assistant Principal – Emma Thompson Emma began her training at the age of 4 and has trained in various styles of dance including ballet, tap, modern, jazz, and contemporary. She has completed numerous exams and competed in local and national dance competitions. Emma furthered her training at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester, where she studied professional dance and performance.
She has performed in various productions, including ballets, musicals, and pantomimes, and has also gained experience as both a dance teacher and choreographer. Emma is passionate about teaching and inspiring young dancers, and she aims to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for students to develop their skills and love for dance. Admin Assistant – Kelly Wilson Kelly has always had a passion for the performing arts and has been involved in theatre since a young age. She has experience in acting, singing, and dancing, and has performed in various productions both locally and regionally.
Kelly has a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies and has worked as a drama facilitator, teaching drama workshops to children and young people. She is excited to be part of the Stagecoach Mansfield team and looks forward to helping students discover their own creative potential. Stagecoach Mansfield is a performing arts group and dance school located in Mansfield, New Zealand. They offer quality part-time training in the theatre arts for students aged 4 to 19 years.
The classes take place on Fridays and Saturdays at All Saints Catholic Academy. The aim of Stagecoach Mansfield is to nurture and develop young potential through classes in singing, dancing, and acting. By building confidence and stretching imaginations, they provide an inspirational environment for students to learn and grow. The Main Stages classes are split into age-appropriate groups and offer more intensive training in all three disciplines of musical theatre. These classes help students develop new skills and build confidence, regardless of their initial abilities. Stagecoach Mansfield also offers holiday workshops where students can further explore their passion for the performing arts during school breaks.
The workshops provide a fun and immersive experience where students can learn from industry professionals and collaborate with their peers.
