Led by Principal Pat Stovell, who has been with the school for 19 years, Stagecoach offers singing, dance, and drama classes for children aged 6 to 18 years.
Every Saturday morning, from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm, Stagecoach Stratford-upon-Avon runs small, personalised classes for children at the Stratford School on Alcester Road. The classes are divided into peer age groups to ensure the best learning environment for each student. The highly qualified teachers at Stagecoach have diverse backgrounds in theatre and performance arts, providing children with the opportunity to develop their imagination and skills while having fun.
The students from Stagecoach Stratford-upon-Avon have been involved in numerous productions, performing at prestigious venues such as the NIA Birmingham, the Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty's Theatre in London, and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. They also have the chance to take musical theatre examinations and can audition for professional stage, television, radio, and film work through Stagecoach's own Agency.
Stagecoach Stratford-upon-Avon takes pride in its success stories, with many former students going on to attend top Drama Schools and Universities or finding employment in the entertainment industry. The school ensures the safety of its students by conducting Enhanced DBS checks on all members of the team.
In addition to the main school, Stagecoach recently opened an Early Stages School for children aged 4 to 6 years. This school, which runs alongside the main school on Saturday mornings from 9:45 am to 11:15 am, focuses on introducing young children to singing, dance, and drama while emphasising creativity and fun.
Stagecoach offers weekly classes for both Early Stages and Main Stages. Early Stages classes provide young children with an introduction to the three disciplines of musical theatre and serve as a stepping stone to the next stage. Main Stages classes, on the other hand, are divided into three age-appropriate groups and allow young people to develop their singing, dancing, and acting skills in a nurturing and supportive environment.
To enrol in Stagecoach Stratford-upon-Avon, interested individuals can contact Principal Pat Stovell or fill out the contact form available on their website.
