The Gateway Figure Skating Club is excited to announce the upcoming STAR Prep Program for beginner figure skaters! If you or someone you know has been wanting to get into figure skating, this 5-session program is the perfect introduction to the sport. The classes will take place on Sundays at The Meadows Community Rec Centre from May 19 to June 16.
To participate in the STAR Prep Program, participants must have their own figure skates. Helmets are optional but recommended for safety. It's also important to have a valid 2023/24 Skate Canada Membership, which includes a $58.65 fee added to the invoice during registration. Prior recommendation by a coach is required, so be sure to check with your coach before signing up.
Please keep in mind that there are no makeup classes, credits, or refunds for missed lessons. So make sure to mark your calendars and set aside some time to lace up your skates and hit the ice with the Gateway Figure Skating Club!
