Dress casually—trousers, shorts, jeans, collared tees, and trainers are all fine. Forgot your clubs or trolleys? No problem. Affordable rentals are available, making sure everyone can play.
Despite its size, the course is full of surprises. Hazards like rivers, ponds, sand traps, and ditches are placed to keep you on your toes. Feel free to bring along your well-behaved dog—just remember to clean up after them, with poo bags provided at the shop.
Tom takes pride in making Starcross Golf a family-friendly spot. Golfers of all ages are welcome, making it an ideal place to introduce kids to the sport. The club operates from April to mid-October, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the game.
Affordable prices mean everyone can play. Nine holes cost just £7.50, 18 holes for £12, and an unlimited day ticket for £15. Junior golfers under 13 can enjoy discounted rates too.
Need equipment? Rent it all day for £3, and pick up Class 'A' and 'B' golf balls if needed. Club repairs are also available on request.

Getting to Starcross Golf is straightforward. From Exeter, take the A379 Dawlish Road to Starcross, turn right at the village’s narrow lane, and find the club on the left after 500 yards. From Dawlish, head towards Exeter on the A379, turn left just before Cockwood traffic light, and the club is on the right after 300 yards.
