Star Diving Club

Star Diving Club, located at Guildford Spectrum in Surrey, is your go-to spot for springboard and highboard diving. As an affiliated member of Swim England with SwimMark accreditation, this club provides top-notch training and opportunities.

Gareth, your organiser at Star Diving Club, welcomes divers at all levels, from beginners to those with some experience. The club runs various weekly sessions during term-time, six days a week, excluding Saturdays.

For anyone keen to dive in, Gareth has set up term-time sessions suitable for everyone. To get started, you can email them at membership@stardiving.org. Just remember, you need to be able to swim 25 metres and be comfortable in deep water without goggles.

Recently, Gareth organised a special general meeting on 19 October, where members voted on a new constitution in line with Swim England's guidelines. This is a big step towards reaccreditation, and club chairman Stuart Johnson thanks everyone for their support, especially Jon Smith for his help with the legal bits. On the fundraising front, the annual winter club competition is a huge hit. It's not just a fundraiser but also a chance for divers to show off their skills. This year's event saw 74 divers compete across eight events in three hours. There were also impressive dive shows from the club's development and age group squads.
