STARSkate 23 Week Program

About

The Ripley-Huron Skating Club is excited to announce the STARSkate 23 Week Program, a fantastic opportunity for skaters looking to enhance their figure skating skills. The program, which kicks off on October 10th and continues until March 28th, offers two classes a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoons (with a short break from December 22nd to January 4th). Skaters will sharpen their ice dance, skating skills, free skate, and interpretive skating abilities, with a strong focus on achieving new milestones and gaining recognition for their accomplishments.

Whether you're a seasoned skater or just starting out, this program caters to individuals of all ages who are passionate about figure skating. The unique group or private lesson format ensures that each skater receives personalized attention, with awards and incentives to keep them motivated throughout the journey. Participants also have the exciting opportunity to demonstrate their progress by taking Skate Canada Tests, which provide a standardized assessment of their skills and abilities.

As skaters advance through the STARSkate program, they can explore the thrilling worlds of synchronized skating and pairs skating, adding a new dimension to their skating experience. The program is divided into four key areas - Skating Skills, Ice Dance, Free Skate, and Interpretive - each designed to enhance different aspects of figure skating technique and artistry.

Although registration for the 2023-2024 season is now closed, keep an eye on the Ripley-Huron Skating Club's Facebook page for updates on registration for the 2024-2025 season. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to take your figure skating skills to new heights with the STARSkate 23 Week Program!
