Learn To Dive, the Scuba Diving club in Manchester, is excited to promote an upcoming event that is perfect for all the diving enthusiasts out there. The event in question is the Static Breath Hold Freediving Clinic, a course designed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in breath hold freediving.
This comprehensive course includes a theory lecture to provide the latest knowledge in the field, practical dry sessions, and a static breath hold session in the water under favourable conditions. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced freediver, this course is suitable for all skill levels.
During the course, participants will learn about training zones, how to plan ahead for training, useful exercises, relaxation techniques, and diet and nutrition for maximising static breath holds. The knowledge and skills gained from this course have proven to be highly beneficial for previous students.
But the learning doesn't stop after the course is done! Participants can choose to opt for remote coaching, where they will receive regular phone calls, video reviews, and customised training plans. This ensures long-term success and improvement in their freediving abilities.
To find out the course dates, you can refer to the Google calendar provided. If you need any additional information or assistance with booking, feel free to contact Steve at steve@freedivers.co.uk or give him a call at (0) 7940 998915. He will be more than happy to help you out.
Before the course, participants are required to fill in and sign medical and liability forms. If there are any health concerns, a doctor's approval is necessary. The course fees include pool fees and all the necessary equipment, making it convenient for everyone to join in on the fun. Please note that certification costs may apply depending on the chosen certification.
Already certified freedivers with another agency require not worry. You can enrol in the appropriate course through a cross-over chart or find other ways to receive value from the course.
Now, let's talk about age requirements. To become an AIDA Freediver, the minimum age requirement is 18 years. However, with parental permission and joining with a parent, the age limit is lowered to 16 years.
Once you've completed the pool and theory requirements, you have 12 months to fulfil the open water requirements for qualification. And if you ever feel the need for a refresher course, you can extend the qualification period by completing additional training.
So mark your calendars and get ready for an amazing experience at the Static Breath Hold Freediving Clinic. Learn To Dive can't wait to see you there!
