Stevenage FC Foundation

Welcome to the Stevenage FC Foundation, the official independent charity of Stevenage Football Club. Established in 2009, our aim is to create a community where everyone can live an active, healthy, and positive life. We are proud to be a community-based organisation, providing our community with more opportunities to engage with Stevenage Football Club.

Our vision is to Aspire, Empower, and Thrive, and we believe in the power of sport to achieve this. Through the use of sport and Stevenage FC, we engage with our community, delivering over 30 different projects each year. From health and wellbeing programmes to education and employability initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

As a registered charity (No. 1140006) since 2011, we are part of a network of 92 Community Club Organisations (CCOs). Our work is entirely non-profit, and we are committed to making a difference in our community.

Some of our recent news includes our partnership with the local food bank, the Foodshed, for a Christmas campaign to collect toys and treats for those in need. We have also hosted a Festival of Social Science event in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire, exploring the impact of reminiscence therapy and how football can help unlock lost memories.

Our programmes cover various areas, including health and wellbeing, education and employability, community engagement, coaching, schools, and fan engagement. We work with individuals and schools to promote healthy lifestyles, provide learning opportunities, support community connexions, and enhance the fan experience at The Lamex Stadium.
