In addition to offering regular ballet classes, St Hilda's Ballet School also holds a Summer Show each year. The show presents a reimagined version of a classic fairy tale, with the upcoming production titled “Insterella”. This adaptation tells the story of a young girl who faces societal pressures to conform to beauty standards but must make a choice between bowing to that pressure or staying true to her authentic self. The show will take place on Sunday, July 9th, 2023, at Newcastle High School for Girls in the Tankerville Main Hall.

St Hilda's Ballet School also operates a shoe exchange programme to help parents recycle shoes as children often outgrow them before they wear them out. For a small fee, parents can exchange their child's outgrown shoes for a new pair without any additional charges. Donations of shoes are also accepted by the school.
