St Michael's Pool is a warm and inviting swimming pool located in Minehead, offering a safe and high-quality swimming experience for individuals, families, groups, and organisations. As the home pool for all, it serves the children of St Michael's School and the surrounding community, with the mission of promoting water confidence and swimming skills to as many children as possible.

Maintained and run by school staff and volunteers from the St. Michael's PTA, the pool operates as a self-sustaining facility. All proceeds from pool bookings are used for pool maintenance and improvement, as well as community children swimming lessons. The pool offers affordable access to top-notch facilities, aiming to instil a lifelong love of swimming and emphasise the importance of water safety.

The pool is known for its cleanliness and tidiness, with online booking made simple and convenient for all users. Customers appreciate the ease of booking online and compliment the great customer service provided. Whether visiting the area or living locally, St. Michael's Pool is a must-visit destination for swimming enthusiasts of all ages.

The pool follows a set of rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. These rules include no balls, no running, and no diving. However, they do encourage fun, kindness, and consideration for others. The pool is regularly monitored and cleaned daily, and any accidents or mess should be promptly reported to the pool manager.

To use St Michael's Pool, individuals are required to become members and make a private booking. Membership costs 25 and is currently fully subscribed, with a waiting list of over 8 months. Private pool bookings are available for 25, allowing members to have the entire pool to themselves or bring along friends and family. Online booking is essential for all private pool bookings.

Organisational or commercial bookings are also possible, with pricing to be determined. Availability varies, and it is recommended to sign up and check the calendar for available time slots.

The pool operates during both term-time and holidays, with different hours depending on the day. During term-time, weekday hours are from 3:45 pm to 6 pm, Saturday hours are from 9:30 am to 6 pm, and Sunday hours are from 10:45 am to 4:45 pm. On holidays, the pool is open from 9:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 10:45 am to 4:45 pm on Sundays.

St. Michael's Pool offers excellent facilities, including separate male and female changing areas and a unisex toilet. Please note that there are no showers available on-site. Parking is available on-site during weekends and school holidays, with visitors requested to park considerately.
