Maintained and run by school staff and volunteers from the St. Michael's PTA, the pool operates as a self-sustaining facility. All proceeds from pool bookings are used for pool maintenance and improvement, as well as community children swimming lessons. To use St Michael's Pool, individuals are required to become members and make a private booking. Membership costs 25 and is currently fully subscribed, with a waiting list of over 8 months. Private pool bookings are available for 25, allowing members to have the entire pool to themselves or bring along friends and family. Online booking is essential for all private pool bookings.
Organisational or commercial bookings are also possible, with pricing to be determined. Availability varies, and it is recommended to sign up and check the calendar for available time slots.
The pool operates during both term-time and holidays, with different hours depending on the day. During term-time, weekday hours are from 3:45 pm to 6 pm, Saturday hours are from 9:30 am to 6 pm, and Sunday hours are from 10:45 am to 4:45 pm. On holidays, the pool is open from 9:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 10:45 am to 4:45 pm on Sundays.
St. Michael's Pool offers excellent facilities, including separate male and female changing areas and a unisex toilet. Please note that there are no showers available on-site. Parking is available on-site during weekends and school holidays, with visitors requested to park considerately.
