Founded in 1989, the school is dedicated to providing high-quality dance education in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap following the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabi.
Under the expert guidance of Eve Brewer, our passionate Principal and RAD RTS, LISTD DDE, Stoke Gifford School of Dance offers classes for a range of ages and skill levels. From pre-school children to advanced students, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy dance, whether it's pursued for fun or with more serious aspirations.
Our classes encompass a wide variety of styles, allowing students to explore their creativity and develop strong technical foundations. In addition to regular classes, we also offer a “Dance with Me” class, where children aged 18 months to 3 years can participate alongside an adult. This special class provides a wonderful bonding experience while introducing little ones to the joy of movement.
At Stoke Gifford School of Dance, we take great pride in our commitment to excellence. Our trained and experienced teaching staff, led by Miss Eve and Miss Ellie Garwood, are dedicated to nurturing each student's potential and encouraging a positive learning environment. They have a wealth of experience in both teaching and performing, with many former students going on to train at prestigious vocational schools such as Tring, Laine, and Urdang.
To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience, Stoke Gifford School of Dance offers an online store for convenient purchase of our official RAD uniform. In line with the RAD recommendations, each level has specific requirements, ranging from the pale pink sleeveless leotard for pre-school and primary students to the hunter's green Capezio camisole leotard for Grade 6–8 students. Our uniform is designed to enhance each student's technique and provide a sense of unity within the school.
