Visit Stone and District Swimming Club (SADSC) in Stone, your local, volunteer-run swimming club. SADSC offers the Swim England Aquatics Framework of Stage 7 and higher, along with Swim England club levels, ensuring a comprehensive swimming experience for children. Our goal is to provide the best swimming experience while making it enjoyable for all. Currently, SADSC operates on Mondays between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
SADSC offers various courses to cater to different skill levels. For those learning to swim, we provide Learning to Train sessions from Stage 7 through to Stage 10 of the Swim England Aquatics Framework. Our experienced coaches will guide your children through these stages, ensuring a smooth progression in their swimming journey. Additionally, we offer Swim England club levels 1 – 6, which serve as a transition to club swimming and further enhance swimming ability.
In addition to the standard curriculum, SADSC conducts a range of events throughout the year. These include distance swim evenings, speed award evenings, an in-house gala evening, Swim England challenge awards, and other varied evenings. These events offer opportunities for children to earn badges and awards, which are presented at the end of each term. We also have a recently introduced house system that adds another dimension of competition throughout the year.
Moreover, we host an annual awards social evening, where parents and children are invited to celebrate achievements.
To streamline our operations, SADSC utilises the Soakly swim management software. This allows us to track attendance and monitor progress within each stage. It also enables our teachers to take notes poolside and stay updated with any medical issues of our swimmers. Although parents cannot currently log in through their own portal, we are working on introducing this feature soon.
