Stonehaven Heated Open Air Pool

Leo and his team are inviting all sports players to experience the Stonehaven Heated Open Air Pool in Scotland. This historic pool, the UK's only art deco Olympic-sized sea water lido, has been a community favourite since 1934.

Open from late May to early September, the heated water ensures a comfortable swim even on cooler days. There’s something for everyone: kids can splash around in the paddling pool and try out the new chute for extra fun, while adults can enjoy dedicated lane swimming or relaxing quiet sessions.

The pool also features sun terraces for a bit of R&R, and with water warmer than the Mediterranean, it's perfect for a day out. Weekends come alive with live entertainment and special moonlight swims under the stars to disco music.

Hungry? The on-site café has you covered with a range of food and drinks. Plus, there's free parking to make your visit even more convenient.

Since 1994, “The Friends,” a community group, has worked with Aberdeenshire Council to keep the pool thriving.
