Tony here, reaching out with some exciting updates about Stowmarket Golf Club. Established back in 1902 and relocated to the serene Finborough Park in 1962, this club has been a staple of the Suffolk countryside. Known for its high-quality greens and varied holes, Stowmarket Golf Club offers a rewarding game for both low and high handicappers.

Tony wants to highlight that Stowmarket Golf Club is not just about golf – it’s about community. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, you’ll find excellent practice facilities, including a grass driving area to hone your skills. And the well-maintained layout ensures everyone has a fantastic time on the course.

After your round, head over to the clubhouse, open from 7:30am to 8pm daily. It’s the perfect spot to socialise and unwind. The bar’s open from 10am on weekdays and 8:30am on weekends, serving until 8pm every day. Catering services run from 10am on weekdays and 9am on weekends, closing at 5pm and 4:30pm respectively, so there’s always a chance to grab a bite.

Tony is keen to welcome both members and visitors alike. Societies and groups can book on Thursdays and Fridays after 1pm, with special arrangements available for a relaxed day out. Green fees are £45 per person for 2023, and while handicap certificates aren't required, players should follow the club etiquette.
