The Principal Teacher and Owner of Strathmore School of Dance is Jenni Peters. Jenni's passion for dance began at the young age of 3 when she joined dance classes at Suzanne School of Dancing in Hampshire. She trained for 15 years in ISTD and RAD Ballet, tap, and modern dance. Jenni even had the opportunity to perform at the British Arts Awards National Competitions in London.

After working abroad at Walt Disney World, Jenni moved to Scotland and pursued her dream of becoming a dance teacher. She established Strathmore School of Dance and has grown the school from 40 to over 200 pupils over the past 6 years.

Angela Boshoff, another talented teacher at SSD, started dancing at the age of 3 and has never stopped since. She attended Bird Theatre Arts, where she earned a BA(Hons) Degree in Dance and Theatre Performance, as well as teaching qualifications in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, and Tap Dance with ISTD. Angela went on to have a successful career as a professional dancer, performing overseas in Musical Theatre and cabaret for 12 years. After retiring as a dancer, Angela returned to her love of teaching and has been sharing her expertise at Strathmore School of Dance since 2020.

Megan Valentine is the Street Dance Teacher at SSD, bringing her talents and knowledge to the students. Linda Napier is the Highland Dance teacher, offering classes in this traditional Scottish dance style.

Strathmore School of Dance not only focuses on training its students but also believes in giving back to the community. The school actively participates in community events, performs at local shows, and organises dance workshops all over the UK.
