Streetfunk Eastbourne Hub is a renowned dance school located in Eastbourne, Sussex. The school is dedicated to providing high-quality dance classes to individuals aged 4 to 18 years old. Founded by JP Omari, a highly acclaimed and award-winning Hip Hop dancer, teacher, coach, and choreographer, Streetfunk strives to inspire and positively impact young people by turning them into confident individuals through the art of Streetdance.
While Hip Hop dance takes centre stage at Streetfunk, the focus is not only on dance skills but also on instilling important qualities such as hard work, discipline, and respect. JP believes that these qualities are essential in creating not just good dancers, but also decent, respectable, and confident individuals. In addition to expressing themselves freely and having fun through dance, students learn the importance of these values in every class.
The Eastbourne Hub, located at Sovereign Harbour Community Centre on Pevensey Bay Road, offers a range of classes to cater to different age and skill levels. The Wednesday timetable includes Hip Hop & Foundations classes for beginners, intermediates, and teens/advanced students. Classes run from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, providing flexibility for students and their families.
Streetfunk Eastbourne offers a membership package that includes one class per week for a monthly fee of 40. This membership also grants students the opportunity to participate in the school's annual production called 'Straight Up,' where they can showcase their skills and celebrate their progress.
To join Streetfunk Eastbourne, interested individuals can book a trial class through their website. After the trial, if they wish to sign up, they can review the package options available specifically for the Eastbourne location. Prospective members are then encouraged to email info@streetfunk. co.
